Job Description

This position is based in our 275 Grove St, Auburndale, MA 02466, USA office.

Position Overview

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) will play a pivotal role in growing Informa TechTarget's business. In this position, you will generate revenue by developing qualified opportunities through phone, LinkedIn, and email outreach for our Account Executives.

Location & Schedule

  • Office-based position: Minimum 4 days in our Newton, Massachusetts office
  • Start date: February 2026

Compensation

  • Base salary: $55,000
  • Monthly bonuses: Performance-based with no cap on commissions
  • Earning potential: $70K OTE, uncapped - the more you achieve, the more you earn!

Essential Job Functions

  • Make outbound sales calls within an assigned territory
  • Leverage email campaigns to engage target prospects
  • Manage social media tools for inbound prospect development
  • Strategically utilize prospecting tools to identify qualified potential customers
  • Interact with target prospects and deliver compelling value propositions
  • Generate qualified leads and schedule sales appointments
  • Maintain and update prospecting status via Salesforce CRM
  • Develop essential selling skills through comprehensive training to prepare for a successful sales career

Qualifications

Knowledge, skills, and abilities required:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 0-3 years’ experience, recent college grads encouraged to apply
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong work ethic – committed to building a career in the high-paying field of sales
  • Willingness to constantly improve and learn
  • High energy mentality with desire to make > 50 calls per day
  • Thrive in a merit-based environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and social media vehicles
