Job Title: Sales Development Representative

Location: United States (Remote)
Reports to: Head of Marketing

About the Role

We’re hiring a Sales Development Representative to help drive our outbound motion and support pipeline generation in key markets. In this role, you’ll identify, engage, and qualify high-intent prospects using a modern set of marketing and sales tools. You’ll be part of the marketing team but work closely with sales to turn interest into real opportunities.

This is a great fit for someone who is proactive, resourceful, and excited to play a foundational role in our global growth.

What You’ll Do
  • Identify and prospect into target accounts using tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, 6sense, Clay and Outreach
  • Execute outbound campaigns that connect with decision-makers across key industries and personas
  • Research and personalize outreach based on company activity, buying signals, and business context
  • Qualify leads and schedule initial discovery meetings for the sales team
  • Collaborate with marketing on content, messaging, and campaign execution
  • Maintain accurate records in Salesforce
  • Share insights with the team about what’s working and what’s not

What Strivacity Can Do for You
  • Tackle high-impact projects with the potential to move into other roles
  • Work with a forward-thinking team solving complex challenges in CIAM
  • Join a company that values creativity, ownership, and professional development
  • Enjoy remote work and autonomy to deliver results

What You Bring
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in outbound prospecting, SDR, or BDR roles
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills with a talent for personalization
  • Familiar with tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Salesforce, 6sense, Clay and Outreach
  • A self-starter mindset with strong time management and follow-through
  • Curiosity and a desire to understand how our solutions solve real-world problems
  • Experience in SaaS, cybersecurity, or identity management is a plus but not required
Why This Role Matters

This is not a high-volume, robotic outreach role. It's about quality conversations, thoughtful engagement, and helping to fuel the growth of our sales pipeline. You’ll play a key role in shaping our regional go-to-market strategy and will have opportunities to grow into other roles as we scale.

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
