About the Team

Our Sales Development team is the engine behind Invoca’s growth, introducing our conversation intelligence platform to new businesses across the Mid-Market and Enterprise segments. We work closely with Regional Sales Directors and Account Executives to bring Invoca’s cutting-edge solutions to market and help companies uncover powerful insights from their customer conversations.

About the Role

As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you’ll kickstart your career in tech sales by helping us connect with potential customers and drive interest in Invoca’s platform. This is an entry-level role ideal for someone excited to break into SaaS sales and grow within a fast-paced, supportive environment. You’ll work with experienced sales leaders to learn outreach strategies, hone your communication skills, and build the foundation for a successful sales career.

You Will:
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads, working proactively to exceed sales targets
  • Conduct high-volume outreach through emails, phone calls, LinkedIn, and other tools to spark interest in Invoca
  • Craft and deliver compelling product narratives that resonate with diverse stakeholders, from individual contributors to C-level executives
  • Book discovery calls and meetings for Account Executives to help fill the sales pipeline
  • Partner with sales leadership to develop strategies for prospecting and outreach
  • Work with tools like Salesforce, Outreach, ZoomInfo, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator to track progress and improve results
  • Collaborate with marketing to share feedback on messaging, lead quality, and campaigns
  • Build foundational knowledge in martech/adtech and gain exposure to digital marketing and analytics
You Have:
  • A strong interest in sales and a desire to break into the SaaS/tech industry
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a persuasive, people-first approach
  • A self-starter attitude—you’re comfortable working independently and eager to learn
  • Comfort with high-volume outreach and willingness to grow through feedback and coaching
  • Basic familiarity with or willingness to learn sales tools like Salesforce, ZoomInfo, and LinkedIn
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role (retail, service industry, call center, etc.) is a plus but not required

  • Initial Call – You'll start with a conversation with a recruiter to learn more about the role and share your background.
  • Hiring Manager Interview – Next, you'll meet with the Senior Manager of Sales Development for a deeper dive into your experience and interests.
  • Take-Home Assessment – You'll complete a short assignment to demonstrate how you approach outreach and messaging.
  • Panel Interview – You'll review your assessment and go through live sales scenarios with both the Director and Senior Manager of Sales Development.
  • Cross-Functional Interview – Lastly, you’ll meet with a current SDR team member, an Account Executive, and a Marketing leader to get a broader feel for how we collaborate across teams.
