The Sales Development Representative will generate qualified leads through outbound prospecting, manage inbound inquiries, and support sales executives by scheduling demo calls. They will also optimize outreach strategies and document interactions in the CRM.
About the Role
Sierra Interactive is seeking a proactive and motivated Sales Development Representative to join our dynamic Sales team. As an SDR, you will work closely with Account Executives in your sales pod to generate qualified pipeline and identify new business opportunities through both outbound prospecting and inbound lead qualification. You will play a key role in initiating conversations with prospective clients, uncovering their needs, and communicating Sierra Interactive’s value proposition.
Key Responsibilities
Pipeline Generation & Outreach
- Conduct targeted and high-volume outbound outreach via phone, email, and other channels.
- Leverage research and industry insights to tailor messaging that resonates with potential customers.
- Use sales tools to continuously test and improve outbound strategies.
- Respond promptly to inbound leads to schedule discovery calls.
- Maintain detailed and up-to-date records in HubSpot CRM.
Discovery & Lead Qualification
- Lead initial discovery calls to identify business needs and potential fit.
- Communicate Sierra Interactive’s value proposition effectively based on prospect pain points.
- Gather key qualifying information and align prospects with appropriate next steps.
Collaboration with Sales Team
- Book high-quality demos for Account Executives and ensure a smooth handoff process.
- Work closely with AEs to align on outreach strategies and target accounts.
Team Contribution
- Share insights, best practices, and feedback to help optimize the sales development process.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve outreach and lead engagement strategies.
Qualifications
- 1+ year of experience in a sales development, business development, or similar customer-facing role (preferred)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Familiarity with CRM systems such as HubSpot is a plus
- Comfortable working independently in a remote-first environment
- A growth mindset and willingness to continuously learn and improve

- Compensation: OTE starts at $80,000.
