About Edia

Our mission is for every child to have an exceptional experience in school.

Edia is a Series A technology startup revolutionizing K-12 education with AI-driven solutions. We develop software to improve math education, tackle chronic absenteeism, and optimize MTSS processes for school districts. Today, Edia supports 150+ districts across the country (e.g. New York City, Miami, Fulton County, Denver, etc.).

About the Role

We’re seeking Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) to drive pipeline growth and help expand Edia’s impact in K-12 education. This is an ideal opportunity for former teachers or individuals passionate about education who want to transition into a high-growth sales role. Our SDRs play a critical role in identifying and engaging potential customers, setting up meetings for our Account Executives, and refining our outreach strategy.

At Edia, we invest in our top talent—our goal is to promote 2/3rds of our most promising SDRs into Account Executive roles within the first year of joining the company.

What You’ll Do
  • Identify and engage key decision-makers in school districts through outbound calls, emails, and social media outreach.

  • Set up high-value meetings for Account Executives.

  • Work closely with sales leadership to refine messaging, improve outreach strategies, and optimize conversion rates.

  • Maintain and update CRM records to track pipeline and performance metrics.

  • Develop a deep understanding of Edia’s products and how they solve key challenges in education.

  • Collaborate with marketing to improve lead generation efforts and outreach campaigns.

Qualifications
  • REQUIRED: Former teachers or individuals with experience in education who want to make a bigger impact.

  • Highly ambitious, coachable, and goal-oriented individuals.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills—comfortable engaging with school and district leaders.

  • Resilient and adaptable—able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

  • Self-starter with a passion for sales and the ability to execute outbound prospecting strategies.

  • Ability to learn quickly and implement feedback to improve performance.

  • Previous sales or customer-facing experience is a plus but not required.

Why Join our SDR Team?
  • Fast-track your career: We aim to promote 2/3rds of our top SDRs to Account Executive roles within 3-9 months.

  • Make a real impact: Help schools and districts solve critical challenges with cutting-edge technology.

  • Collaborative and mission-driven culture: Work alongside a talented and passionate team dedicated to improving education.

Why Join Edia?
  • High-impact role where you’ll shape the narrative of a fast-scaling ed-tech AI startup.

  • Work closely with leadership and GTM teams to drive market success.

  • Competitive compensation, equity, and benefits package.

  • Hybrid-friendly work environment with flexibility on remote work.

Work Authorization: We are currently unable to sponsor or transfer work authorization for all jobs. If things change in the future, we'll be sure to update this section.

We appreciate your interest in Edia. Feel free to follow us on LinkedIn to learn more about what we're doing to improve education outcomes in the US.
