Lumafield was founded in 2019 to upgrade manufacturing.

We are engineers with deep experience across the product development cycle, from initial ideas to shipping hardware, across industries and specializations, who became frustrated by the cost and complexity of modern manufacturing. So we decided to upgrade it.

Engineers make million-dollar decisions every day, and they need tools that give them the greatest possible insight into their products. About the role:  

Lumafield  is seeking a Sales  Development Representative to join our incredibly successful and growing sales team. Are you a motivated go-getter who is excited to introduce people to novel technology? Do you have previous sales experience or are you looking to break into sales? This is a great opportunity to partner with highly successful sales leaders at a fast-growing startup to further your own sales career.

If you are interested in joining a well-funded growth stage company this is the perfect opportunity for you to become a part of the Lumafield  team.

What you'll do:

  • Conduct highly targeted prospecting into qualified accounts
  • Work closely and collaboratively with the account executives to develop and implement appropriate prospect communication plans
  • Apply an account-based sales approach including detailed research and personalized outreach to assist in account expansion and development
  • Work internally with other departments to provide data/feedback you are hearing from prospects
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and communicate them to the leadership team

About you:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A strong interest in a customer-facing role
  • The ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment
  • Experience hitting and reporting on individual KPIs
  • The technical aptitude to master our CRM system
  • A highly self-driven sense of motivation
  • The ability to deal with objections and handle rejection

Bonus points:

  • Previous sales experience in which you demonstrated the ability to meet or exceed sales quotas, preferred
  • Experience working around advanced manufacturing companies
  • Academic background or professional experience in any of the following: mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, materials sciences, chemistry, chemical engineering, industrial engineering, manufacturing equipment
  • Account-based selling knowledge and experience
