About Us:

Grow Therapy is on a mission to serve as the trusted partner for therapists growing their practice, and patients accessing high-quality care. Powered by technology, we are a three-sided marketplace that empowers providers, augments insurance payors, and serves patients. Following the mass increase in depression and anxiety, the need for accessibility is more important than ever. To make our vision for mental healthcare a reality, we’re building a team of entrepreneurs and mission-driven go-getters. Since launching in February 2021, we’ve empowered more than ten thousand therapists and hundreds of thousands of clients across the country and insurance landscape. We’ve raised more than $178mm of funding from Sequoia Capital, Transformation Capital, TCV, SignalFire, and others.

The Opportunity:

The Physician Partnerships Coordinator (SDR) will be on the front lines of Grow Therapy’s mission to expand access to high-quality Behavioral Health care. This role is all about cold outreach, hustle, and empathy—engaging physicians (PCPs, OB/GYNs, Pediatricians) through high-volume outbound calls to introduce Grow’s services and spark interest in partnering to support their patients’ mental health needs.

As the first point of contact, you are the voice of Grow—representing us with professionalism, warmth, and empathy, even in fast-paced, transactional interactions. You'll also play a key role in ensuring data quality and CRM hygiene, maintaining clean and accurate records of outreach activity, lead status, and physician insights in HubSpot and related tracking tools.

This position is ideal for someone energized by cold calling and metrics-driven environments, who thrives in overcoming rejection, learning from every call, and improving each day. Your feedback from the field will help inform messaging strategies and can even shape how Grow evolves its physician-facing experience.

This role reports directly to the VP of Provider Experience and offers the opportunity to help build the foundation of our national physician referral network—one cold call at a time.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • High-volume physician outreach and engagement via cold calling (~200–300 calls/week), focusing on Primary Care Physicians, OB/GYNs, and Pediatricians, with the goal of consistently booking qualified intro demos.
  • Break through gatekeepers with grit and professionalism, using thoughtful, clear messaging to earn time and trust from busy physicians and office staff.
  • Maintain data integrity by logging outreach activity, lead details, and call outcomes accurately and promptly in HubSpot and Google Sheets, ensuring complete and reliable pipeline tracking.
  • Identify patterns and share learnings from front-line conversations with physicians and staff, contributing valuable feedback to inform targeting, messaging, and process improvements.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with teammates and leadership to test and refine outreach approaches, and occasionally surface insights to product or operational teams when relevant.
  • Represent Grow Therapy with empathy and clarity, balancing the drive for results with an understanding of physician workflows and the importance of patient care.

You’ll Be a Good Fit If:

  • You have experience in outbound sales, especially to physicians or clinical practices, and are comfortable making 200+ calls per week with the grit and stamina to push through rejection and gatekeepers.
  • You're a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment—able to manage your time independently, stay organized, and consistently deliver results without needing constant oversight.
  • You're energized by the opportunity to help build something from the ground up, contributing to both process and culture as a founding member of a growing team.
  • You’re resilient and adaptable—able to maintain focus, motivation, and a sense of humor as priorities shift and systems evolve.
  • You’re motivated by mission-driven work, and you’re excited to be on the front lines of expanding access to high-quality Behavioral Health care.
  • You’re comfortable working in ambiguity and thrive in balancing structured goals with fluid day-to-day realities, always maintaining a solutions-oriented mindset.
  • You’re a clear, thoughtful communicator who can distill complex ideas quickly—whether speaking with a busy physician, a skeptical office manager, or a cross-functional teammate.

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
