This position plays a critical role in driving MedScout’s growth and expansion by identifying and acquiring new business opportunities across the MedTech market. The role focuses on cultivating relationships with potential clients, understanding their needs, and positioning MedScout’s revenue acceleration platform as the solution to their commercial challenges. The primary objective is to generate qualified leads and contribute to the overall sales pipeline, ultimately leading to increased revenue and market share.

At MedScout, our mission is to empower MedTech commercial teams with the data, insights, and tools they need to deliver life-changing medical innovations to the patients who need them most. As an SDR, you are often the first interaction a prospect has with MedScout, and how you engage shapes their first impression of who we are.

What you will do:
  • Proactively identify and generate new business leads through various channels such as cold calling, emailing, and LinkedIn. You will also get the opportunity to help produce and distribute relevant market research to add value to prospects. .

  • Research and identify potential customers and key decision-makers within medical device and diagnostic companies.

  • Book meetings for Account Executives by engaging prospects and communicating our value.

  • Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects.

  • Collaborate with Marketing on campaigns, messaging, and creative ways to add value to early stage prospects..

  • Manage all activity within our CRM (HubSpot).

  • Continuously learn and stay up to date on our product and the MedTech industry.

What you will need:
  • 0–2 years of experience in sales, customer service, or a related field.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Resilience, curiosity, and a strong work ethic.

  • Comfortable with rejection and motivated by goals.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Experience with sales tools (e.g., Hubspot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, Gong) is a plus.

  • Interest in healthcare, medical devices, or data-driven sales is a plus.

Measures of success:
  • Achievement of monthly and quarterly pipeline targets.

  • New client acquisition and revenue growth from new accounts.

  • Quality of meetings booked and downstream conversion to opportunities.

  • Continuous personal and professional development in sales skills and product knowledge.
