Who We Are

Shadow Light Studios is an LA-based, high-performance content engine for brands that want to dominate the scroll. Viral short-form, disruptive visual design, and full-stack production that drives awareness, trust, and revenue. We’ve delivered for culture-defining brands: Beats by Dre, Apple Music, Monster, Samsung, X Games, JuneShine, Poppi, Jay Shetty, Machine Gun Kelly, and more.

Recent wins: $2M → $5M in 12 months (Nectar), 1M followers in <8 months (Johnny Chang), 105M+ organic views (Lisa Stelly & Fancy Sprinkles), 79M+ ad views (Golden Goose).

Why This Role Matters

We’re not hiring a spammer. We’re hiring a strategic hunter who gets our CEO in front of the right decision-makers and opens revenue-creating conversations. Cold outreach in 2025 = timing + relevance + human connection at scale.

$1,000 sign-on bonus after your first 3 closed deals.

What You’ll Own

  • Build & prioritize target lists in LinkedIn Sales Navigator; research deeply to find the POV that lands.
  • Write human, context-rich outreach (DMs, short Looms/voice notes) that gets replies.
  • Book qualified meetings (no tire-kickers) and keep the pipeline flowing in ClickUp with metrics in Sheets.
  • Source podcast guest spots for our CEO on shows that reach founders/marketers; handle the approach and booking.
  • Test/iterate messaging; A/B subject lines, angles, and follow-ups until it converts.

You’ll Crush This If You…

  • Have a track record turning cold outreach into held meetings and revenue.
  • Write like a person (not a bot) and know how to earn 30 seconds of an exec’s attention.
  • Are metric-driven (open/reply/meeting rates, SQOs, pipeline value) and improve them week over week.
  • Move fast, keep things clean, and don’t need hand-holding.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Based in LATAM with 4+ hours PST overlap.
  • Experience booking podcast interviews or creator partnerships.

Our Stack & KPIs

  • Tools: LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ClickUp, Google Sheets.
  • We measure: meetings booked → meetings held → SQL/SQO (Sales Qualified Lead/Opportunity) → deals closed (and pipeline value). Activity is meaningless without outcomes.

Compensation

  • Base + commission + $1k bonus after first 3 deals closed. We’re remote, async, performance-driven.

How to Apply (skip the resume)

  1. Paste 3 real messages that booked meetings (with brief context).
  2. Share your last 90-day stats (reply %, meeting %, held rate, SQOs, deals).

In one short paragraph, tell us why you’re not like every other “SDR.”

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
