Company Description

Organizations everywhere struggle under the crushing costs and complexities of “solutions” that promise to simplify their lives. To create a better experience for their customers and employees. To help them grow. Software is a choice that can make or break a business. Create better or worse experiences. Propel or throttle growth. Business software has become a blocker instead of ways to get work done.

There’s another option. Freshworks. With a fresh vision for how the world works.

At Freshworks, we build uncomplicated service software that delivers exceptional customer and employee experiences. Our enterprise-grade solutions are powerful, yet easy to use, and quick to deliver results. Our people-first approach to AI eliminates friction, making employees more effective and organizations more productive. Over 72,000 companies, including Bridgestone, New Balance, Nucor, S&P Global, and Sony Music, trust Freshworks’ customer experience (CX) and employee experience (EX) software to fuel customer loyalty and service efficiency. And, over 4,500 Freshworks employees make this possible, all around the world.

Fresh vision. Real impact. Come build it with us.

Job Description

Are you ready to jumpstart your career in tech sales and make an impact at a rapidly growing company? Device42, now proudly part of Freshworks, is looking for a driven and energetic Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our team!

Device42 delivers a powerful, real-time view of an organization's IT infrastructure, helping businesses gain deep visibility into all of their assets. Now integrated with Freshservice, we're offering an even more robust IT solution - empowering customers with next-level IT Asset Management (ITAM) capabilities and driving real business results

As an SDR for Device42, you'll play a pivotal role in fueling our growth. You'll be the first point of contact for potential customers - sparking conversations, uncovering needs, and helping organizations understand how we can solve their most pressing IT challenges. You'll work closely with our Account Executives to build a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities across targeted territories.

Please note: This role will begin as remote. However, once our new Boston Area office opens, this position will transition to a 5-day onsite schedule.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Respond to inbound leads and qualify them to set up follow-up meetings for the sales team
  • Prospect new leads via cold calls and personalized email outreach to generate high-quality opportunities
  • Understand and effectively communicate the Device42 + Freshworks value proposition to a variety of audiences
  • Stay informed on industry trends and account activity as part of your outreach strategy
  • Diligently manage activities and leads in our CRM system
  • Hit or exceed performance targets and KPIs
  • Collaborate closely with the sales and marketing teams to fine-tune messaging and campaigns

Qualifications

What You Bring:

  • 0-2+ years of experience in sales, marketing, customer service, or an administrative role
  • A proven record of hitting or exceeding performance targets
  • High energy, a self-starter attitude, and a drive to succeed
  • Great communication skills - both written and verbal
  • A personable, confident, and collaborative team player
  • Comfort with high-volume outreach and phone calls
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment
  • Familiarity with CRM tools is a plus

This is an incredible opportunity to grow with a company that's innovating at the intersection of IT infrastructure and SaaS. If you're passionate about sales and technology - and ready to make an impact - we'd love to hear from you
