Job Summary:

RectorSeal, a leading manufacturer and distributor of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing solutions for 80+ years, is seeking a motivated Sales Development Representative with strong HVAC industry knowledge to help grow our customer base. This fully remote role is ideal for someone who excels at phone‑based selling, understands contractor and distributor needs, and thrives on turning underserved accounts into loyal, high‑value customers.

What You’ll Do

  • Drive outbound calls to generate leads, deliver quotes, and close sales.
  • Communicate the value of RectorSeal’s HVAC product portfolio with clarity and confidence.
  • Provide product education, virtual training, samples, and point‑of‑sale support to distributors and contractors.
  • Promote new product launches, promotions, and brand updates.
  • Leverage CRM tools, historical data, and cross‑sell insights to personalize outreach.
  • Collaborate with Outside Sales, manufacturer reps, and regional leadership.
  • Track performance, report results, and refine strategies based on data and customer feedback.

What You Bring

  • 2–3+ years of inside sales experience, ideally in HVAC, building products, electrical, or plumbing.
  • Strong communication skills and a proven ability to hit sales targets.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, sales automation tools, and e‑commerce workflows.
  • A proactive, solution‑oriented mindset with the ability to build trust quickly.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Marketing, Sales, Communications, or a related field.
  • Must reside in the Continental US on a full-time basis; ability to travel up to 5%.

Compensation: Rectorseal has an effective process for assessing market data and establishing ranges to ensure we remain competitive.  Employees may be eligible for pay incentives based on overall corporate and individual performance or at the discretion of the CSWI Board of Directors.
