Job Description

  • Title: Sales Development Representative
  • Location: Newton, MA
  • Start Date: June 2025
  • Salary: Up to $55,000 + Commission

The successful candidate is a “hunter” who has the ability to hit the ground running and has a passion for over-achieving sales targets while exceeding client expectations. We develop new pipeline for our Sales Representatives through email, video, and LinkedIn messaging. But primarily, we dial the phone!

In this role, you will help demonstrate our product’s value by building a pipeline of Marketing leaders, and other high level decision makers. With dedicated hands-on sales leaders and the best prospecting sales tools, everything you need to succeed will be at your fingertips!

This role offers hands on training and uncapped commission, with clear career growth paths!

Essential Job Functions:

  • Generate opportunities for Sales Representatives to demonstrate NetLine’s portfolio of B2B lead generation products to lead generation decision-makers.
  • Research, source and secure leads to build pipeline for our Account Directors.
  • Making outbound sales calls against an assigned territory
  • Actively participate in weekly meetings, recognizing achievements, exchanging valuable insights, and collaborating to overcome challenges. 
  • Leveraging email to engage target prospects
  • Managing social media tools for inbound prospect development
  • Interacting with target prospects and providing high level value proposition
  • Generating qualified leads and setting sales appointments
  • Managing and updating prospecting status via CRM (Salesforce.com)
  • Expand your understanding of how content marketing programs unlock value for TechTarget customers by seeking out innovative approaches and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Have a willingness to learn how to navigate organizations, develop leads and sales opportunities across departments at target companies including phone, email, video, LinkedIn, Outreach and appointment setting.
  • Strong and strategic verbal/written communication skills.
  • A self-starter with excellent work ethic and multi-tasking ability.
  • Resilience and an ability to overcome objections and obstacles.
  • Positive attitude with an openness to feedback.
  • Career driven with a love for sales.
  • Salesforce/Outreach/ZoomInfo experience is a plus.
  • 1+ years of sales/business development experience is a plus.
  • Experience selling to Marketers and C-Level executives is a plus.
