We’re expanding our U.S. team and seeking a dynamic, education-savvy Sales and Implementation Specialist in Virginia. If you’re a former or current educator passionate about coaching, edtech, and building meaningful partnerships, this could be the perfect fit.
What You’ll Do- Drive sales and adoption by identifying prospects, delivering engaging product demos, managing pilots, and converting schools to long-term partners.
- Facilitate professional development sessions (both in-person and virtual) to help educators integrate Mathspace into their curriculum and instructional practices.
- Guide teachers in using student data and learning analytics to personalize instruction and inform their teaching.
- Manage relationships with schools and district leaders, serving as a trusted partner throughout the sales and implementation process.
- Represent Mathspace at conferences, networking events, and in online education communities—promptly following up with leads.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Mathspace’s Customer Success, Product, and Curriculum teams to ensure high-quality delivery and feedback integration.
- Use tools like HubSpot to maintain accurate records of engagement, pipeline activity, and outreach.
- Be a flexible, self-directed contributor who brings startup energy and a willingness to grow with the role.
Who You Are
- A current or former educator with 2+ years of classroom teaching experience (math preferred, grades 6–12 ideal).
- Passionate about supporting educators and improving math instruction through the use of technology, coaching, and collaboration.
- Skilled in facilitating professional development or coaching sessions for teachers—virtually and/or in-person.
- Comfortable analyzing student performance data and guiding educators in using data to drive instructional decisions.
- Proficient with tools such as:
- LMSs (Canvas, Schoology, Google Classroom, Classlink)
- EdTech tools (Mathspace, Desmos, GeoGebra, Khan Academy)
- Video conferencing (Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams)
- Google Workspace and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong in communication, organization, time management, and self-direction.
- Located in Virginia.
Able and willing to travel locally (50-75%) with a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Bonus Points If You...- Have experience using Mathspace in a classroom or district setting.
- Have experience in EdTech Sales
- Are familiar with the 2023 Virginia Standards of Learning for Mathematics (SOLs) and curriculum alignment for grades 6–12.
- Have supported school- or district-level EdTech implementations.
- Bring experience supporting diverse learners, including multilingual students, students with disabilities, or advanced academic populations.
