• Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and sales metrics to measure the effectiveness of sales strategies and initiatives (sales territory design, quota setting, and incentive compensation plan).
• Translate complex data into clear, concise, and actionable recommendations for sales leadership and executive teams, ensuring key stakeholders have access to the right data at the right time.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of sales data to identify opportunities for improvement, uncover bottlenecks, and predict future sales trends.
• Support sales forecasting processes, improving accuracy through data analysis and process optimization.
Power BI & Salesforce Expertise:
• Serve as the primary Power BI expert within the sales organization, leveraging its full capabilities for data modeling, visualization, and advanced analytics.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity within Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Provide training and support to sales team members on how to effectively utilize Power BI reports for their daily activities.
• Manage user access, roles, and profiles within Power BI to maintain data security and proper system usage.
• Develop and optimize Salesforce reports and dashboards to support sales operations, forecasting, and performance management.
• Collaborate with IT and other stakeholders to implement new Salesforce features, enhancements, and integrations that improve sales productivity.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
• Partner with Marketing Operations to help analyze lead generation effectiveness, campaign ROI, and conversion rates.
• Work with Finance to support financial reports and sales compensation.
• Collaborate with Product teams to provide sales insights for product development and market positioning.
Minimum Qualifications
• 10+ years of progressive experience in Sales Operations, with a strong focus on analytics and business intelligence.
• Expert-level proficiency in Power BI, including data preparation and data modeling (PowerQuery & DAX), report development, and dashboard creation.
• Experience with Salesforce as an end user and data user for reporting.
• Proven ability to analyze complex sales data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights that drive business outcomes.
• Strong understanding of B2B sales processes, sales methodologies, and sales pipeline management.
• Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, complex formulas).
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
