Job Summary
The Sales Administrator plays a key role in the quote-to-cash process, supporting the sales organization by ensuring accuracy and efficiency in quote creation and order submission. This position is part of the Revenue Operations team and serves as a critical connector between Sales, Deal Desk, and Order Management. This is an entry-level role designed for individuals early in their careers who are detail-oriented, process-driven, and eager to learn the business. The Sales Administrator will gain exposure to the full revenue lifecycle and develop foundational experience in sales operations, order management, and commercial execution.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain sales opportunities and quotes within CRM and quoting systems.
- Generate accurate quotes aligned with pricing policies, approval workflows, and deal structures.
- Review and validate quotes and order documentation for accuracy, compliance, and completeness.
- Ensure timely delivery of quotes and orders to sales teams and customers.
- Collaborate with Order Management, Sales, and Deal Desk to resolve discrepancies and submission issues.
- Partner cross-functionally with Finance and Operations to support the quote-to-cash process.
- Support end-of-quarter activities and ensure efficient order turnaround.
- Contribute to continuous improvement through team meetings, feedback, and operational projects.
- Other duties as assigned and required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of relevant experience (internships or entry-level operations experience preferred).
- Experience with CRM or quoting tools (e.g., Salesforce, CPQ systems) is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and process compliance.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks under deadlines.
- Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); familiarity with CRM systems preferred.
- Analytical and curious mindset — eager to understand systems, workflows, and data.
- Self-starter who demonstrates ownership, initiative, and a willingness to learn.
This position offers a total compensation range of $75,000.00 to $85,000.00 (inclusive of base salary and variable compensation, such as bonuses and incentives). In addition, more information about Imprivata’s benefit offerings can be found here. This range represents the high and low end of Imprivata’s compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors, such as a candidate’s location, skills, experience, and qualifications.
