About the Role:

Decagon is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Strategic Sales Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and driving the performance of our sales team, helping them to exceed their targets and contribute to the company’s growth. You will work closely with sales leadership, set performance goals, and implement strategies that foster a high-performance culture. As the Sales Manager, you will be instrumental in scaling our sales operations, driving revenue growth, and ensuring the team’s success.


You may be a good fit if you:
  • Have 4+ years of experience managing and leading sales teams, ideally in a B2B or SaaS environment

  • Trained in MEDDPICC sales methodology or similar value selling framework

  • Are a strong communicator, capable of motivating and inspiring a sales team while holding them accountable to high standards

  • Have experience in setting sales targets, tracking KPIs, and analyzing performance data to drive improvements

  • Have a proven track record of hitting or exceeding sales targets, both personally and as a manager

  • Are skilled in developing and executing sales strategies that lead to consistent growth and customer acquisition

Even better if you:
  • Have experience in sales forecasting, territory planning, and developing effective sales playbooks

  • Drive strong operational rigor with sales team

  • Have expertise in sales enablement tools and CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) to drive team efficiency and effectiveness

  • Have a deep understanding of 7 figure deal sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, and can coach your team through each stage

  • Have experience in a rapidly growing startup or tech environment where adaptability and flexibility are essential for success
