Role Title: Rubrik Architect
Location: Remote
Role Type: Contract
Length: 6 Months 

Summary

• Provide advisory support and specialized subject matter expert (SME) resources to work collaboratively with assigned personnel
• Review current Rubrik deployment and configuration
• Configure and implement Lansweeper and perform initial environment discovery scans
• Prioritize identified data sets based on business criticality
• Configure Rubrik backup and recovery policies for critical systems
• Develop, test, and validate restore, disaster recovery, and ransomware‑resilient recovery procedures
• Document technical runbooks, configurations, and operational processes
• Configure all critical backups as immutable
• Replicate backups to offsite locations and ensure critical data is protected using Air‑Gapped or Cloud‑Gapped architectures
• Collaborate with network teams to isolate backup infrastructure on a dedicated VLAN
• Design and implement a basic disaster recovery solution for the AWS‑hosted Teamcenter environment
• Assess Rubrik capacity and space requirements for newly identified data sets, including:
  • Teamcenter hosted in AWS
  • Engineering file systems in AWS
  • TrueNAS data sets
  • Active Directory
  • HR data stored in Dropbox
  • SaaS platforms (Google G Suite, Microsoft 365, SAP)
