The Robotics Systems Specialist supports a growing fleet of robots through testing, diagnostics, maintenance, data analysis, and version control, requiring strong robotics and programming skills.

This is a really great role for someone looking to break into the robotics field, with a fast growing robotics startup. In this role, you can be a jack-of-all-trades in a variety of operational and engineering related roles. You will learn our system, about real world robotics, and grow within the company.
We are a startup experiencing growth and looking for immediately available folks with robotics skills who can help us manage this growing fleet.
Note: Our fleet operates close to 24-7, and some responsibilities are needed for on-call support late at night or early in the morning. For this role, you should expect either early mornings OR late nights.
Responsibilities
- Robot testing and bug report generation
- Reading logs and performing system diagnostics
- Installation and maintenance of robots in the field
- Testing and development of new features
- Data generation and analysis from our robots
- Investigation into novel issues
- Code management and firmware upgrades
- Devops support of robot fleet
Requirements:
- Knowledge of robotics concepts (Kinematics / Dynamics, Planning, SLAM, etc.)
- Experience programming in python
- Strong communication skills
- Experience with version control software (git)
- Strong analytical skills
Bonus:
- Experience with robot hardware (electronics, pneumatics, mechanical)
- Dev ops / networking experience
- Ability to travel (domestic)
