Summary of Position
Provides consultation, inspections and training to client regarding risk identification, mitigation and prevention.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Provide consultation to assist client in furthering their safety and risk management initiatives.
- Perform loss analysis and support brokerage marketing efforts with carrier visits and recommendations.
- Conduct site audits to identify hazards or for compliance.
- Research and respond to client safety, risk management and compliance related inquiries.
- Identify consulting opportunities for new and existing clients.
- Provide peer review for service deliverables.
- Develop or refine consulting services to be delivered to client.
- Manage client workloads through the use of service plans, budget worksheets and stewardship report
- Write articles, blogs and communication content for website, marketing materials and client distribution.
- Participate in presentations to prospects.
- Continue to enhance technical knowledge and meet licensing requirements.
- Comply with PAR, legal and regulatory requirements.
- Assist with the writing and presentation of RFPs and consulting proposals.
- Overnight travel every other month within the United States.
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications Required to Successfully Perform the Essential Job Duties:
- College degree, or combination of college education in specialty and experience or professional equivalent required.
- Technical knowledge of OSHA, NFPA, EPA, HR or other specialty area as deemed appropriate.
- Must possess strong interpersonal skills in written and verbal communication, planning and analysis.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Good time management and organization is beneficial.
- Ability to accurately perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Knowledge and skills in effective use of office equipment, primarily computer and telephone and copier.
- Speaking and writing skills to effectively communicate with customers and insurance companies.
Other qualifications:
- Driving to attend client meetings and perform site assessments at client locations.
