At Hive, we’re all about creating moments that matter and helping event marketers connect with their biggest fans. Live events bring people together, and our industry-leading platform makes it easier than ever for promoters to build strong, lasting connections with their audiences. Our mission is simple: to help live events grow.

The Role

We’re looking for a strategic, analytical, and systems-minded Revenue Operations Manager to build and scale our RevOps function. Reporting to the VP of Revenue, as Hive's first dedicated RevOps hire, you’ll define how we connect the dots across our entire revenue engine from Marketing and Sales to Onboarding, Customer Success, and Support.

You'll work cross-functionally to design scalable processes, enforce data hygiene, improve system integrations, and unlock actionable insights. While sales operations will be part of the role, we’re especially looking for someone who brings deep marketing operations experience, strong HubSpot chops, and an ability to strategically challenge GTM decisions using data.

If you’re excited about vertical SaaS, building from the ground up, and shaping how a company scales from 0 → 1 in RevOps maturity, we’d love to hear from you.

What you’ll get up to

Build Visibility and Drive Insights

  • Own reporting and dashboarding across marketing performance, funnel conversion, pipeline health, and revenue

  • Analyze trends across segments to surface insights and guide team decision-making

  • Guide forecasting accuracy, pipeline generation analysis, win/loss breakdowns, and revenue trends

Partner Across the GTM Org and Support Strategic Planning

  • Collaborate with Marketing and Sales to design campaigns, scoring models, and outbound strategies rooted in ICP and TAM insights

  • Support territory design, segmentation, quota setting, and campaign effectiveness

  • Contribute to strategic planning cycles, team QBRs, and cross-functional goal-setting

Improve and Scale Revenue Processes

  • Uncover and lead improvements in lead routing, attribution, lifecycle stages, and sales workflows

  • Design scalable and streamlined processes across Marketing, Sales, and CS

  • Ensure data integrity across systems to enable reliable forecasting, segmentation, and outreach

  • Support contract management workflows, and compliance with various stipulated processes

Own and Optimize GTM Systems

  • Manage our HubSpot CRM and ensure it reflects our GTM reality (lifecycle stages, lead sources, ICP fit, attribution, etc.)

  • Manage and optimize integrations with tools like Chargebee, Gong, and Salesloft

  • Reduce tech debt and automate workflows where possible to improve efficiency

Enable Operational Excellence

  • Drive regular performance reviews with GTM leaders and turn insights into business action

  • Document RevOps playbooks and train teams on process and tooling best practices

  • Act as the connective tissue across functions—bridging strategy, systems, and execution

Who you are:
  • 6+ years of experience in Revenue Operations or Sales/Marketing Ops roles— ideally within high-growth B2B SaaS

  • Deep understanding of GTM funnels (leads, opps, accounts, renewals) and SaaS sales motion

  • Strong technical proficiency in Salesforce and HubSpot, with bonus points for Salesloft, Gong, ZoomInfo, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator. Hands-on experience managing HubSpot is a must.

  • Analytical mindset with a bias for action—you love using data to identify problems and implement solutions

  • Excellent communicator with the ability to influence, challenge assumptions, and bring clarity to complexity

  • Highly collaborative and process-driven, able to influence without direct authority

  • Proactive, organized, and excited to build from the ground up in a fast-paced environment

Nice to Haves:

  • Experience scaling RevOps functions at a SaaS company in the $20M–$50M ARR stage

  • Strong project management experience

  • Experience with SaaS financial modeling, quota setting, or sales comp plan development

  • Experience working closely with Finance on revenue recognition and ARR reconciliation

  • Familiarity with contracting workflows and cross-functional compliance processes

Why Hive:
  • Join an ambitious team at a pivotal stage of growth

  • Enjoy a culture that values innovation and continuous improvement

  • Work remotely with flexibility, empowerment, and a strong sense of ownership

  • Play a foundational role in shaping our GTM engine and building Hive's future

Comp/Benefits Package:
  • Meaningful salary and equity: You're rewarded based on impact.

  • Work fully remote in Canada or the US: where you’re most productive whether that be from your house, or elsewhere. We just ask that you have legal work authorization in the country you reside in.

  • Flexible work hours: Choose your 9–5 as long as it’s not disruptive to your role, team, and Hive.

  • Health Insurance: Comprehensive health & dental coverage with a parental leave top-up program.

  • Open vacation/PTO policy: So you can be happy and healthy!

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
