REVENUE ACCOUNTING SPECIALIST 

USA – Remote, Permanent

  • AI-powered multimodal data harmonization and analytics for drug discovery and development 
  • IVD development, validation, and regulatory approval 
  • Clinical NGS interpretation, reporting, and adoption

With our headquarters in Boston, MA, we are growing and expanding our teams located in different countries! 

Velsera is seeking an experienced Revenue Accounting Specialist to join the team in the USA on a permanent basis.  This is a key role in ensuring correct revenue recognition, timely cash collections and accurate revenue and cash forecasting. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Record monthly revenue in compliance with ASC606. 
  • Ensure customer invoices are processed in a timely manner and are in compliance with customer contracts.  
  • Work with the Global Controller on revenue-related month-end close processes. 
  • Maintain accurate revenue recognition, deferred and unbilled schedules. 
  • Support revenue and cash collection forecasting. 
  • Identify and implement initiatives to drive efficiencies in revenue accounting processes. 

Requirements

What you bring to the table: 

  • CPA with 5-8+ years’ experience in finance teams. 
  • Background in SaaS, Life Sciences or high-tier accounting firms.  
  • Demonstrable experience in managing Revenue Recognition and Accounts Receivable processes and US GAAP reporting. 
  • Track record in driving change and performance improvement in Finance teams. 
  • Collaborates effectively in a remote-first environment across time zones. 
  • Experience with NetSuite ERP. Exposure to CRM and Contract Management tools would be beneficial.
