About the Role

As a Revenue Accountant at Zone & Co., you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate revenue recognition and supporting the financial health of a fast-growing SaaS organization. This role offers the opportunity to manage the full revenue cycle, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive process improvements to scale the business for growth.

In this role you will:

• Manage the revenue recognition process in compliance with GAAP and ASC606 standards.
• Oversee the order-to-cash cycle, including invoicing, payment processing, and collections.
• Analyze customer contracts to ensure accurate revenue treatment and reporting.
• Prepare and reconcile revenue reports, including deferred revenue balances.
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, and Finance teams to streamline operations.
• Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and analysis.
• Drive automation and process improvements to support scalability and operational efficiency.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2+ years of revenue accounting experience, preferably in SaaS or subscription-based models.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP revenue recognition principles (ASC606).
• Proficiency in NetSuite and Salesforce; experience with Zone Billing is a plus.
• Exceptional analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
• CPA certification preferred.
