The Role

LeafLink seeks a Retail Enablement Manager to join our growing team. You will work directly with our retail clients, Account Executives, and various internal teams to guide our retail customers’ success on LeafLink through the adoption of our marketplace, inventory insights, group purchasing, and financial service solutions. We’re looking for someone with a successful track record of building deep relationships with retailers to expand our reach and deepen our engagement. You will work with a cross-functional team to not only push retail engagement with LeafLink’s platform but also to contribute to LeafLink’s overall success. You will also work collaboratively with the broader seller sales organization, partnering to deliver success in accounts specializing in manufacturing cannabis brands and retail. As the voice of the customer for our retailers, you will collect and share feedback with internal stakeholders, helping to shape the future strategy for the buy-side of LeafLink’s marketplace. You will also provide strategic guidance that reflects best practices, technical expertise, and industry acumen.

This role is highly collaborative. You are a good fit for this position if you are a proactive self-starter who is comfortable with change, enjoys a fast pace, is an excellent communicator, and can juggle many tasks and deadlines.

What You’ll Be Doing 
  • Act as the primary Retail Enablement partner across your book of business, collaborating with Account Managers and specialists both virtually and in-person to deliver adoption, satisfaction, and growth. Attending events and traveling up to 30% of the time.  
  • Help retailers succeed by aligning their goals with LeafLink’s platform capabilities—including marketplace, insights, group purchasing, and financial services.
  • Own the success and satisfaction of your retail accounts, proactively managing their engagement and ensuring they realize value from LeafLink solutions.
  • Steer enablement efforts through onboarding, training, regular check-ins, and performance reviews to expand retailer adoption and product usage.
  • Identify and close upsell and cross-sell opportunities that deliver mutual value, increasing customer ROI and platform revenue.
  • Build sound, multi-level relationships across retailers of all sizes to inspire engagement, influence product direction, and uncover new business opportunities.
  • Research customer data to surface operational gaps and recommend actions that improve efficiency, margin, and overall business health.
  • Serve as a platform expert, keeping customers informed about key updates and ensuring they are set up to succeed with new tools and features.
  • Capture customer insights, manage expectations, and coordinate with Sales, Product, Support, and Marketing to ensure best-in-class client experiences.
  • To scale customer success, maintain accurate records in Salesforce, track key metrics, and support ongoing process and tool improvements.
What You’ll Bring to the Team
  • Business degree or equivalent professional experience preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in a retail-facing cannabis sales role
  • 3+ years of experience using technical B2B software with proficiency in feature demonstrations, functionality overviews, and best practice sharing with VIP, technical, and non-technical end users
  • A solid understanding of the current landscape in the legalized Cannabis industry
  • Proficiency in operational procurement cycles, payment cycles, and inventory management
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Track record of building and maintaining steady customer relationships, virtually and in person
  • A current and robust relationship network within the Michigan cannabis retail market 
  • Steady ability to facilitate meetings with customers and users of various levels of professional seniority and technical skill
  • You have a track record of achieving and exceeding your targets
  • Problem solver and builder mindset with an excellent ability to work cross-functionally to deliver results
  • You are a successful self-starter who can provide pioneering suggestions from your in-market experience and customer relationships
  • You possess the ability to excel in a fast-paced startup, and you thrive in a dynamic environment that is constantly evolving and changing
  • Proficient in Salesforce
  • Preferred experience with Salesloft, Sigma, and/or other advanced data information tools
