Position Summary
This position offers a unique career opportunity with the Response team. We are looking for someone who enjoys a new experience each day, supporting the customers and Bluum sales teams in responding to their requests. Responsibilities
- Production of accurate and timely equipment quotes in Bluum’s ERP system based upon the customer’s request or bid requirements.
- Develop contract knowledge and price quotations according to client contract guidelines to ensure compliance.
- Process quote revisions as requested by the Account Executive or Customer.
- Organize and facilitate project status meetings with colleagues regarding the delegation of tasks to complete the bid.
- Manage the preparation of formal RFP/Bid responses from consultants, general contractors, or government agencies. This includes chairing the review meetings and monitoring the progress of the tasks assigned to each team member.
- Initiate the procurement of bonds, certifications, and other requisite documents needed to complete bids.
- Working directly with Bluum’s purchasing department and vendors to gather product information and pricing.
- Assembles customer quote binders including applicable product literature; may require some internet research to locate product information specification sheets as necessary.
- Add new data to opportunity and quote records and monitor data integrity, including key dates, financials, design attributes, or assigned resources.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education & Skill Requirements
- Minimum of three years of administration or customer service experience.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (preferred).
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Experience with an online ERP system Oracle NetSuite a bonus.
- Exceptional project management skills required.
Training
- It will be necessary to participate in upgrading courses from time to time to keep abreast of changing policy, technology, and growth.
Supervisory Responsibility
- This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
Travel
- Little to no travel is expected for this position.
