The role involves applying diffusion techniques and developing AI models to enhance 3D reconstruction pipelines for various industries.
Third Dimension is building SuperSim, a new kind of simulator which can enable fast, cost-effective and photorealistic 3D simulations directly from source data using AI. We are working with customers across multiple industries, including autonomous vehicles, drones, robots in industrial and manufacturing environments, and more.
About the role:
We’re looking to hire a Research Scientist that is interested in applying diffusion to solve cutting edge neural reconstructions, developing and applying computer vision and Gen AI models to enhance the quality and efficiency of our 3D reconstruction pipeline.
Preferred Qualifications and skills:
- Strong mathematical and statistical background with deep insights into machine learning algorithms.
- Expert in generative AI algorithms (Diffusion, GAN, VAE, Flow-based models, etc.).
- Proficient in using open-source deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow/PyTorch.
- Experience in model training and performance optimization.
Nice to Have:
- 3+ years of practical work experience in AI, with hands-on development experience.
- Experience of multimodal training such as 3D, video generation, or computer vision methods.
- Contributions to popular open-source machine learning projects.
- Publications in top-tier AI/ML/CV conferences.
Location:
- London, UK / Graz, Austria/ Bay Area: This is a priority for us, as we're trying to build a presence around our already existing team in London, Graz or Bay area. Hybrid in office preferred
- Remote: If these are are not an option, but you're amazing, we're open to having you work out your home location.
