Opportunity

Naveris is seeking a Research Publications Coordinator to join our Medical Affairs team. Reporting to the Senior Director, Evidence Generation, the Research Publications Coordinator must be detail-oriented and proactive to support the development, review, and dissemination of scientific publications in the field of virally driven cancer diagnostics. This role will be instrumental in executing the strategic communication of research findings, and managing collaborative relationships with internal teams and external research partners as part of a real-world data registry for HPV-driven cancers. 

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in scientific publishing, familiarity with oncology or molecular diagnostics, and excellent project coordination and relationship-building skills.

Job Responsibilities

Research Collaborator Coordination

  • Serve as a point of contact for external research collaborators contributing to publications, studies, or real-world data registry.
  • Coordinate the onboarding of new collaborators, including access to necessary tools, templates, systems, and guidelines. Maintain documentation of signed agreements and completion of onboarding tasks. 
  • Ensure all collaborators are informed of timelines, authorship criteria, data-sharing agreements, and compliance protocols. 
  • Track collaboration activities and provide regular updates to internal stakeholders on progress and deliverables.
  • Manage documentation and publication records for the portfolio of research studies.

Publication Management & Support

  • Oversee timelines and workflows for manuscripts, abstracts, and conference submissions.
  • Coordinate cross-functional input from internal authors, medical writers, and external collaborators.
  • Ensure timely submission and quality control of all publication deliverables.
  • Facilitate the drafting, review, and revision process for manuscripts and abstracts.
  • Ensure adherence to journal/conference guidelines and scientific integrity standards.
  • Assist with the submission process, including formatting, figure preparation, and editorial communication.
  • Support data visualization, table formatting, and content QC processes.

Conference Support

  • Coordinate submissions and materials for scientific conferences (e.g., abstracts, posters, slide decks).
  • Monitor and track relevant material in leading journals and conference proceedings.
  • Review conference programs for relevant abstracts, presentations, and posters and collate material for conference attendees. 

Library Maintenance

  • Organize internal documents and support company-wide access to publications and conference materials. 
  • Monitor the scientific literature for relevant publications.
Requirements

Outstanding candidates for the Research Publications Coordinator role will meet the minimum following requirements:

  • Advanced degree (MS, MPH, PhD, MD) in a field relevant to molecular biomarker use and development, such as molecular biology, cancer biology or genomics, or oncology research and clinical trials.
  • 3+ years of experience in research coordination, medical communications, or scientific publications; oncology or diagnostics background strongly preferred. 
  • Experience with scientific or medical writing/editing and coordinating multi-site or cross-institutional research collaborations required.
  • Familiarity with publication guidelines, authorship criteria, and collaborative research agreements.
  • Excellent project management and stakeholder communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency with reference management tools, document collaboration platforms, and Microsoft Office.

Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) is a federal law that describes the national standards to protect sensitive patient health information from being disclosed without the patient’s consent or knowledge. All roles at Naveris require compliance with legal and regulatory requirements of HIPAA and acceptance and adherence to all policies and standards at Naveris.
