About the Opportunity

This job seeks a research assistant to work on one or more projects related to the development and assessment of wearable robotics.

Possible projects topics include:

1) Developing machine-learning based exoskeleton controllers to work across tasks

2) Designing and validating new robotic lower-limb prostheses

3) Exploring other high-risk high-reward research areas related to device design, control, and evaluation The ideal candidate will lead their own project, and support the engineering efforts for several PhD student led projects.

Qualifications

MS in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or similar.

Expected Hiring Range:

$48,610.00 - $66,838.75

With the pay range(s) shown above, the starting salary will depend on several factors, which may include your education, experience, location, knowledge and expertise, and skills as well as a pay comparison to similarly-situated employees already in the role. Salary ranges are reviewed regularly and are subject to change.
