Role Overview:

Overview
The Renewal Account Manager (RAM) at Trellix is a strategic role responsible for managing a geographically designated book of commercial business and driving revenue delivery through contract renewals and upsell opportunities with existing customers. As a results-driven self-starter with a consultative sales approach, you will provide tailored security solutions to meet customer needs, ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, and enable long-term career growth in the cybersecurity software market sector. You will collaborate closely with internal sales, customer success, and technical support teams to facilitate a smooth contract renewal process.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the full renewal business and contract lifecycle within an assigned territory to ensure revenue delivery.
Drive meaningful customer conversations and engagements to achieve positive business outcomes and maximize renewal rates.
Lead deal reviews and collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, technical support, and channel partners on renewal opportunities.
Programmatically structure, quote, and close renewal transactions in a meticulous and timely manner.
Participate in regular forecasting calls and devise strategic plans to meet and overachieve renewal sales targets.
Identify renewal risks and proactively work with account teams and cross-functional groups to perform risk mitigation or escalations.
Required Knowledge & Skills
Solid understanding of cybersecurity industry trends, the competitive landscape, and Trellix's product and services portfolio.
Proficiency in CRM software and renewal management tools for efficient account tracking and reporting.
Strong negotiation skills with a deep understanding of contract terms, pricing structures, and sales strategies.
Outstanding verbal, written, and presentation communication skills to build valuable, outcome-based customer relationships.
Exceptional cross-functional collaboration skills to work effectively across internal departments and channel partners.
Disciplined time, account, and territory management skills with the ability to balance short- and long-term goals.
Qualifications
3–5 years of experience working on renewals or account management in a recurring revenue business, preferably within enterprise software or cybersecurity.
Proven track record of success in consistently achieving or overachieving quota and sales goals.
Self-motivated, persistent, and analytical with the ability to quickly learn and think critically.

Responsible for working with existing customers to ensure product and technical requirements are met. Works closely with CSM and Field Sales to proactively address Client issues and maximize potential value of contract renewals.
