Revecore is a leader in complex claim and underpayment recovery solutions — helping hospitals and health systems optimize reimbursement and strengthen revenue integrity. We’re expanding our Complex Claims Product team and hiring a Technical Product Owner to support our growing business and optimization initiatives.

In this role, you’ll combine your analytical, technical, and business skills to turn complex healthcare problems into actionable, data-driven solutions. You’ll work directly with Product Management, Engineering, and Operations to analyze trends, validate issues, and define product enhancements that improve automation, accuracy, and efficiency.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys getting into the data, understanding system logic, and writing clear user stories that guide development from concept to delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Product Management to analyze and define business problems across complex claim workflows for VA, Auto, Workers Compensation, and Denials & Receivables service lines
  • Perform data research and trend analysis to quantify issues, validate root causes, and support prioritization of enhancement backlog items
  • Write well-structured user stories and acceptance criteria that guide engineering teams in designing and implementing solutions
  • Document and map system logic, data flow, and dependencies within Revecore’s core platforms
  • Collaborate with developers to ensure technical feasibility and alignment with business needs
  • Support UAT and production validation to ensure new features meet success criteria and deliver measurable improvement
  • Maintain a clear view of system performance and recurring issues to inform roadmap decisions

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in technical product ownership, business systems analysis, or related roles within healthcare technology or revenue cycle management
  • Strong working knowledge of healthcare claims, payments, adjustments, and denial processes
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and relational data modeling with hands-on experience using data to define, analyze, and validate business problems
  • Proven ability to write clear, testable user stories and collaborate effectively with engineering teams in Agile environments
  • Experience mapping data and system integrations (APIs, ETL workflows, or financial transaction systems)
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Familiarity with tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar backlog management systems

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • A data-driven problem solver who thrives on finding clarity in complex systems
  • Understands both the business logic of healthcare reimbursement and the technical mechanisms that drive automation and accuracy
  • Confident working independently to research data, validate assumptions, and present recommendations
  • Values collaboration and transparency — comfortable working closely with product, engineering, and operations

Work at Home Requirements:

  • A quiet, distraction-free environment to work from in your home.
  • A secure home internet connection with speeds >20 Mbps for downloads and >10 Mbps for uploads is required.
  • The workspace area accommodates all workstation equipment and related materials and provides adequate surface area to be productive.

Employment is contingent upon eligibility to work in the U.S., employment history verification, and a background check.

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
