The Role:
This role is remote within the United States.

As a Remote Billing & Coding Specialist at Turquoise Health, you will manage medical billing and coding processes, ensuring accurate claims submission, compliance, and timely reimbursement.

This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and experienced in healthcare billing in a fast-paced, fully remote environment.

Responsibilities:

• Review and code medical records and claims accurately
• Submit claims and follow up on denials or discrepancies
• Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and coding standards
• Collaborate with providers and internal teams for accurate documentation
• Track billing metrics and prepare reports as needed

What You Bring to the Role:

• 1–3 years of experience in medical billing and coding
• Strong knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes
• Proficiency with billing software and Google Workspace
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Certification in medical billing/coding preferred

Compensation:
$55,000 – $70,000 depending on experience

Job Location

Turquoise Health is a fully remote company based in the US. We work with team members and contractors in the US and around the world, but we operate on US business hours and work with clients entirely based in the US. For this role, we are seeking US-based candidates.
