WORK TYPE: Onsite

LOCATION DETAILS:  A list of the regional office locations are as follows:

  • Northeast Division – Baltimore, MD
  • Midwest Division – Louisville, KY
  • Southeast Division – Gainesville, FL
  • Southwest Division – Houston, TX
  • West Division – Phoenix, AZ

WORK HOURS: Monday-Friday, 8:0am- 5:00pm

TRAVEL REQUIREMENT: Travel and attendance at staff meetings & trainings is required. Travel may include overnight stays.  

BASE PAY RATE: $17.00-$20.00 depending on experience.

   

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

The Assistant, Operational Support is an important member of our Varsity All Star Operations Team, providing support to the members of this department and executing additional job functions.  This person should be extremely organized, able to multi-task, and project oriented. 

The Registration Specialist is an important member of our Varsity All Star Registration team, responsible for ensuring that their customers have a seamless event registration experience.  This person will conduct themselves with professionalism and provide excellent service to our internal and external customers.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Registration Specialist will register teams.

Assistant, Operational Support will be a jack of all trades.

QUALIFICATIONS

KNOWLEDGE/ SKILLS/ ABILITIES

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of cheer and dance industry preferred

EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred. Equivalent work experience may be substituted in leu of degree.  
  • Strong fluency in Microsoft Excel along with other Microsoft Office programs.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This job operates in a professional office environment. Largely a sedentary role with some filing requiring the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bending or standing on a stool as necessary. The ability to sit or stand for long periods through meetings and while operating office equipment, PC’s, laptop, telephone will be required.  

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; drive, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

During events, the ability to stand and walk for long periods of time (5 hours plus) is required. The ability to communicate with customers and colleagues using the following but not limited to radio, walkie talkie, text message and email is required. The ability to lift, bend, push, pull and manipulate equipment that is a minimum of 30 lbs. is required.
