LogicMonitor is seeking a Regional Vice President, Public Sector Sales to lead and accelerate our growing U.S. Public Sector business across Federal, State, Local and Education (SLED) markets.

This is a senior sales leadership role with a dual mandate: deliver the business today and build the business for tomorrow. The RVP will directly lead a team of approximately seven Account Executives responsible for a rapidly growing customer base and new-logo market, while defining and executing the strategy to significantly expand LogicMonitor's position across the U.S. Public Sector.

The RVP will have direct accountability for bookings performance, pipeline creation, forecasting, customer growth, new-logo acquisition, talent development, and sales execution. This leader will establish a rigorous, AI-enabled operating cadence across the team—using data, automation, and AI-driven insights to improve account prioritization, pipeline generation, deal inspection, forecasting, coaching, and seller productivity.

At the same time, this leader will operate as the senior executive for LogicMonitor's Public Sector business—developing strategic customer and partner relationships, identifying new avenues for growth, navigating complex government buying environments, and building a repeatable go-to-market model capable of supporting significant scale. As customers increasingly evaluate the role of AI and autonomous operations within their technology strategies, this leader must also be capable of engaging executives around the business and mission outcomes enabled by AI-driven IT operations.

The successful candidate will be equally comfortable running an AI-informed forecast and pipeline review, coaching an AE through a complex deal, engaging a CIO or agency technology leader on their AI and IT modernization priorities, developing a strategic partner relationship, and defining a multi-year growth strategy for the market.

Here's a closer look at this key role:

Sales Leadership & Business Performance

  • Lead, coach, develop, and hold accountable a team of approximately seven Account Executives serving Federal and SLED customers and prospects.

  • Own Public Sector bookings performance and consistently deliver against quarterly and annual revenue objectives.

  • Establish a disciplined operating cadence around pipeline generation, opportunity inspection, forecasting, account planning, territory management, and deal execution.

  • Maintain a high degree of forecast accuracy and provide executive leadership with clear visibility into performance, risks, opportunities, and required actions.

  • Coach sellers directly on complex, strategic opportunities and create a culture of accountability, urgency, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

  • Recruit, develop, retain, and elevate top sales talent as the Public Sector organization grows.

  • Leverage AI, automation, and data-driven insights to improve seller productivity, account prioritization, pipeline inspection, forecasting, opportunity strategy, and coaching.

  • Create an AI-forward sales culture in which sellers consistently use modern tools and workflows to increase customer insight, reduce administrative work, improve execution quality, and spend more time engaging customers.

  • Continuously identify and operationalize new AI-enabled sales workflows that improve the effectiveness and scalability of the Public Sector organization.

Strategic Growth

  • Develop and execute the overall U.S. Public Sector sales strategy across Federal, State, Local and Education markets.

  • Build and execute a multi-year growth plan that expands LogicMonitor's Public Sector footprint across both existing customers and new strategic accounts.

  • Identify the highest-value market opportunities and translate them into clear territory, account, partner, and resource priorities.

  • Drive expansion within a rapidly growing installed customer base while creating a strong and sustainable new-logo acquisition engine.

  • Use AI-assisted account and market intelligence to identify whitespace, prioritize accounts, recognize customer signals, and uncover expansion and new-logo opportunities.

  • Develop repeatable go-to-market motions that enable the Public Sector organization to scale beyond individual opportunities or relationships.

  • Anticipate changes in the Public Sector technology landscape, procurement environment, competitive market, and customer priorities and translate them into actionable sales strategy.

Strategic & Complex Sales Execution

  • Serve as an executive sponsor on LogicMonitor's most important Public Sector opportunities and accounts.

  • Engage directly with CIOs, CTOs, technology executives, mission leaders, procurement stakeholders, and other senior decision-makers.

  • Coach the organization on complex enterprise sales cycles, competitive positioning, business-value articulation, negotiation, and deal strategy.

  • Ensure disciplined qualification and resource allocation across major pursuits.

  • Engage credibly with Public Sector technology executives around the evolving role of AI, automation, observability, and autonomous IT operations, connecting emerging capabilities to mission outcomes, operational resilience, workforce efficiency, and IT modernization priorities.

  • Ensure the sales organization can effectively position LogicMonitor's AI-enabled platform and articulate the business and operational outcomes it enables rather than relying solely on product- or feature-based selling.

Partner & Ecosystem Leadership

  • Develop executive-level relationships with strategic channel partners, resellers, integrators, distributors, and other organizations critical to the Public Sector market.

  • Build partner-led and partner-influenced pipeline and establish repeatable joint-selling motions.

  • Identify relationships and routes to market that can materially accelerate LogicMonitor's reach within Federal and SLED.

  • Represent LogicMonitor with customers, partners, industry organizations, and at relevant Public Sector events.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Act as the senior voice of the U.S. Public Sector business within LogicMonitor.

  • Partner closely with Sales Engineering, Customer Experience, Professional Services, Marketing, Product, Legal, Finance, Channel, and executive leadership.

  • Advocate for the capabilities, investments, certifications, partnerships, and resources required to accelerate Public Sector growth.

  • Translate customer and market intelligence into actionable feedback for Product and company leadership.

  • Ensure effective transition from sales through implementation, adoption, expansion, and renewal for strategic Public Sector customers.

What You'll Need:
  • 10+ years of enterprise technology sales experience, with significant experience selling into U.S. Public Sector organizations.

  • 5+ years of successful sales leadership experience, including direct responsibility for quota-carrying enterprise sales teams.

  • Demonstrated track record of leading teams to achieve or exceed significant bookings or revenue targets.

  • Deep understanding of Federal and SLED markets, including their distinct procurement environments, buying processes, partner ecosystems, and sales cycles.

  • Demonstrated success developing and executing growth strategies across both existing customers and new-logo markets.

  • Proven ability to coach and lead complex, high-value enterprise technology sales cycles.

  • Strong sales management fundamentals, including forecasting, pipeline management, territory planning, performance management, hiring, coaching, and talent development.

  • Demonstrated ability to establish trusted executive relationships with senior government and technology leaders.

  • Experience building productive relationships with channel partners, resellers, systems integrators, and other Public Sector ecosystem participants.

  • Demonstrated ability to adopt and operationalize AI-enabled sales technologies and workflows to improve productivity, customer intelligence, pipeline management, forecasting, coaching, or deal execution.

  • Ability to lead organizational change and develop a sales culture that embraces AI, automation, experimentation, and continuous improvement.

  • Executive-level understanding of how AI and automation are reshaping enterprise IT operations, with the ability to engage customers credibly around their implications for Public Sector organizations.

  • Experience selling AI, observability, AIOps, automation, cloud, infrastructure, or other transformational enterprise technology solutions strongly preferred.

  • Exceptional executive communication, negotiation, business judgment, and cross-functional leadership skills.

  • Ability to operate effectively in a high-growth environment requiring both strategic leadership and hands-on execution.
