We’re seeking a high-performing Regional Sales Manager who thrives in a consultative, client-centric sales environment. This isn’t a plug-and-play sales role; it’s about crafting tailored solutions, guiding a regional team, and personally stepping in to help close complex deals when needed. If you’re passionate about building robust sales programs, delivering best-in-class customer service, and driving results, this is your opportunity to lead with impact.

Why TricorBraun?

TricorBraun is a global leader in packaging solutions, with a footprint across the Americas, Europe, Asia, Australia, and New Zealand. As North America’s largest distributor of primary packaging, we serve clients ranging from pioneering startups to household-name brands. Our people-first culture means you’ll be supported by a collaborative, motivated team and many of the products we distribute are already in your home.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead a geographically based sales team with a focus on accountability, innovation, and consultative selling

  • Drive business growth by developing customized sales strategies tailored to each client’s unique needs

  • Personally support high-value opportunities and help guide deals to close

  • Identify new revenue streams and build scalable programs that reflect client diversity

  • Partner with executive leadership to shape strategic plans and annual business goals

  • Travel within your regional market with some overnight stay as needed to support your team and key accounts

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (preferred) and 5–7 years of sales management experience

  • Proven success in consultative and custom sales environments, with a deep understanding of client-specific solution building

  • Strong leadership in sales strategy, channel management, account development, and business planning

  • Experience with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Oracle, etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite

  • A competitive approach focused on winning, delivering exceptional service, and building high-performing sales programs

  • Packaging experience is a plus!

How We’ll Support You

From day one, you’ll be immersed in a robust training program that blends classroom learning, online resources, and hands-on collaboration. You’ll gain deep insight into our business, our industry, and our sales process. Your home base will be the staffed office closest to your territory, and you’ll be backed by a team that’s as driven and people-focused as you are.

  • Competitive compensation and bonus structure

  • Excellent medical, dental, and vision benefits

  • Retirement plan with employer match

  • Unlimited advancement opportunities

  • A culture that puts people first

TricorBraun is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We welcome all applicants and celebrate diversity in our workplace.

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
