As a Regional Sales Manager- Traffic Solutions (Preformed Thermoplastic), you will develop the Northeastern Region (New England states and New York) through outreach of our value proposition, strategy, and long-term market penetration plan for the Traffic Solutions business segment. ****The candidate selected for this position must live within the sales territory mentioned above (New York or one of the New England states: Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop long-term relationships with the architectural and engineering community as well as key state and local municipalities and related trade organizations
  • Expand the regional sales pipeline while coordinating activities with the regional qualified and certified contractors.
  • Provide outstanding customer service handling questions, concerns, orders, requests for quotation and project jobsite consulting.
  • Inform the customer base of industry and/or product developments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field, plus five (5) or more years of materials sales experience, preferably with paint/coatings or thermoplastic expertise.
  • Excellent presentation skills when presenting to the architectural community
  • Proven track record to develop and manage long term, high value projects with multiple influencers and decision makers.
  • Ability to track and maintain records using CRM software, as well as Microsoft Office. Prior knowledge and usage of Salesforce.com would be very beneficial.
  • Ability to travel up to 75% of the time within the territory  focusing on major metro areas.
  • Prior experience with demand forecasting and SAP-IBP a plus.
