Exciting news! We're looking for a Regional Sales Manager to join our Sales Department. This position is responsible for overseeing sales operations across the East Coast. The ideal candidate will reside in Boston, MA area to ensure strong regional coverage and customer engagement.

Working Schedule: 8:00AM - 5:00PM | Monday - Friday | 100% Remote

Starting at $112,000

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Meets annual regional Sales goal and provide an action plan for territory not meeting goals.

Manages travel and expenses to operate within budget.

Prepares regional annual forecast on a timely, accurate basis.

Supervises and supports Sales Representatives including tracking key measures of productivity.

Manages Sales Representative territories and overall coverage of region.

Makes customer visits and travels, as necessary, efficiently and economically.

Represents ESPEC to regional customers, in a professional manner.

Provides information to the GM of Customer Relations and also the Inside Sales Team including the Inside Sales Manager, Product Specialists, Application Engineers and Sales Assistants.

Maintains strong product knowledge.

Maintains accurate customer database.

Maintains regional office and equipment in a professional manner.

Organizes and supports regional shows and expositions.

Reviews and sends quotations for custom/customized products to the customer/rep.

Works independently, with minimal supervision.

Other duties as assigned.

Extensive travel may be required.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This job is responsible for supervising all Sales Reps in assigned region.

Requirements

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience

Two-year degree or equivalent experience required; Minimum 3 years proven sales record of meeting goal.

Language Skills

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the production shop.

  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred, but not required.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide; knowledge of Business math.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out multiple step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with frequent variables.

Computer Skills

Mid-level computer skills required; use of Microsoft Office, email, company database, ERP.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Must maintain active Driver’s license and license must be in good standing; insurable under company automobile insurance policy. Depending on region covered, may need to maintain a valid passport for international travel.
