About the RoleAs the Regional Sales Leader for North America, you’ll lead and develop Tulip’s enterprise sales team based out of our global headquarters in Somerville. You'll be responsible for driving ARR growth by coaching and supporting a team of Account Executives as they navigate complex, consultative enterprise sales cycles.
This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for someone with a builder’s mindset, strong coaching instincts, and a passion for value-based selling. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams—Professional Services, Sales Engineering, Customer Success, Marketing, and BDRs—to shape and execute our go-to-market strategy in key industrial verticals.
This is a highly collaborative role at the center of Tulip’s GTM engine, with strong organizational support and visibility.
What You’ll Do- Own the North American ARR number and drive execution across the region.
- Coach, support, and develop a growing team of Account Executives selling into complex enterprise environments.
- Drive strong opportunity qualification and consistent execution of Tulip’s value-based sales methodology.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales Engineering, Professional Services, Customer Success, BDRs, and Marketing to ensure alignment on account strategy and customer outcomes.
- Support the team in navigating multi-stakeholder enterprise deals, pilots, and expansions.
- Participate directly in high-impact customer conversations and act as executive sponsor when needed.
- Recruit, hire, and onboard new sales talent; foster a performance-driven and supportive team culture.
- Monitor pipeline health, forecast accurately, and report key insights to senior leadership.
- Actively contribute to improving the playbook and feedback loop between the field and headquarters.
- 5–10 years of enterprise sales experience with 5+ years managing sales teams in a SaaS/PaaS environment.
Proven track record closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals with C-suite and VP-level buyers. - Deep understanding of value-based, consultative sales approaches (e.g. Challenger, MEDDIC, or equivalent).
- Ability to coach AEs on pipeline development, qualification, and closing strategies.
- Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional partners (SEs, CSMs, PS, Marketing).
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Familiarity with manufacturing, life sciences, or industrial software is a plus. - Experience using Salesforce to track pipeline and performance.
