The Role
The Regional Event Manager (REM) will manage events in their region in collaboration with different partner organizations. This includes but is not limited to Team Onsites or Offsites, External Events and company-wide initiatives.
Reporting to the Global Internal Event Lead, you will lead and consult, depending on the event scope and needs of the group hosting the event. You will review all event requests and assign events based on the type of event, often planning multiple events at the same time. You will work with local experience teams to ensure events have adequate day-of support.
This role can be based remotely but please note it will support our east coast offices .
You Will
  • In partnership with Regional Event Managers, review all requests submitted in thego/eventrequest and triage accordingly.
  • Manage all assigned go/eventrequests tickets and calendaring. Assign subtasks to cross-functional partners (AV, IT, Trust & Safety, Workplace, etc) as needed to ensure smooth execution and adequate "day-of" support.
  • Plan and execute assigned company-wide events in partnership with onboarded global agencies including venue selection, activations, give-back, communications, leadership engagement and feedback.
  • Partner with Global Event Lead and Regional Event Managers to create and maintain cohesive event management resources.
  • Partner with Board Liaison to plan and execute Board of Directors meetings that occur within region including room set-up, food & beverage, transportation, special events, and supplies.
  • Provide in person event support for executive or large team events, traveling up to 25% of the year.
  • Lead onboarding, communication, and maintenance with preferred vendors within the region.
  • Build an inventory list of event related supplies in the region's offices for items available to event requestors.
  • Collaborate with our AV, Centers of Excellence (CoE), IT, Trust & Safety, and Workplace Experience Team to foster a cohesive global event program.
  • Partner with Global Event Lead to enhance event program experience for employees including piloting new tools/technology, participating in working groups for global initiatives, and project managing special projects as needed.
  • Evaluate program effectiveness and provide feedback for improvements.

You Have
  • Over 4 years experience in event management or alike (corporate events within large scale tech companies a bonus)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong collaborator with partner organizations, adaptable to leading or contributing to projects as needed to accomplish goals.
  • Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and change; ability to think quickly and pivot directions as needed.
  • Confidence in communicating with senior leadership and team leads.
  • Experience working with communication and web design (IE: presentations, signage, event brochures, email, etc).
  • Project Management experience - prioritizing events, timely response, and tracking.
  • Strong customer service experience.

The successful candidate's starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.
