Role
We are seeking a dynamic and highly experienced Director of Sales to join Aman’s global commercial team, representing the US Western Region. This strategic role is an exciting opportunity to drive revenue growth by managing and developing relationships with key trade partners including luxury travel advisors, tour operators, wholesalers, OTAs, and DMCs. With your deep understanding of the luxury travel landscape, you will be at the forefront of building Aman’s commercial presence and shaping our partner engagement across the West Coast market.

Reporting to the Head of Sales – The Americas, this senior individual contributor role will own a regional account portfolio and lead outbound B2B sales efforts to maximise conversion and deliver sustained commercial performance.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of key regional trade accounts, acting as Aman’s primary commercial representative.
  • Develop and execute structured account plans for high-potential partners to drive engagement, loyalty, and revenue.
  • Identify and qualify group and MICE opportunities, ensuring smooth handovers to the Inbound Sales team.
  • Lead structured performance reviews, planning discussions, and sales presentations with partners.
  • Act as an Aman brand ambassador at regional trade events, roadshows, and conferences.
  • Identify new B2B sales opportunities and grow pipeline across leisure, group, and corporate segments.
  • Collaborate with Revenue Management and Marketing to align offers, promotions, and messaging to regional market needs.
  • Maintain up-to-date sales activities and partner records within CRM systems (Salesforce).
  • Utilise sales performance tools and dashboards to track account health, pipeline status, and regional KPIs.
  • Share market insights and performance feedback to support the optimisation of Aman’s global sales strategies.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of B2B sales experience in luxury hospitality or travel, with at least 3–5 years in a senior sales role.
  • Proven success managing complex partner portfolios and achieving sustained revenue growth.
  • Extensive knowledge of trade channels including luxury travel advisors, wholesalers, OTAs, and DMCs.
  • Strong experience in prospecting, account planning, and sales performance management.
  • Experience using group sales and RFP platforms (e.g., Delphi, Cvent) to manage leads and proposals.
  • Proficient in CRM tools such as Salesforce for tracking pipelines and partner engagement.
  • Excellent commercial, communication, and presentation skills; credible and confident in high-level partner environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, hospitality, or a related field; advanced sales certifications a plus.
  • Ability to travel extensively across the US Western Region and beyond, as needed.
