We’re looking for a hardworking, driven leader with superb energy, passion and initiative to lead a highly talented Enterprise Growth sales team. The team concentrates exclusively on formulating and executing a sales strategy towards growing existing customers

As the Regional Director there is a focus on recruitment, enablement and execution for the territory. You will drive revenue and assure the continued success of the Boston region. We are looking to speak to candidates who are based in Boston, MA for our hybrid working model.

What you will be doing
  • Have an in-depth and detailed understanding of MongoDB products to confidently provide mentorship for your Sales team
  • Enable, develop and empower your team to proactively prospect, identify, qualify, and build sales pipeline
  • Coach the team to grow existing business and to navigate complex negotiations and organizations
  • Evangelize our validated sales methodology MEDDIC and drive adoption and expertise within your team
  • Actively recruit Enterprise Account Executives for your team, according to MongoDB’s hiring criteria
  • Onboard and ramp new Enterprise Account Executives and accelerate their productive capacity
  • Foster strong and effective relationships, resulting in growth opportunities
  • Run weekly forecast meetings
  • Scale, strategically plan, and develop sales territories
What you will bring to the table
  • 2+ years experience with recruiting and managing a highly successful and talented direct software sales team while driving them towards success
  • 5+ years field experience of quota-carrying experience in a fast-paced and competitive market with a focus on closing net new logos  
  • Demonstrated ability to open new accounts and run a complex sales process 
  • A proven track record of overachievement and hitting sales targets
  • Ability to articulate the business value of complex enterprise technology
  • Skilled in building business champions
  • Driven and competitive. Possess a strong desire to be successful

MongoDB’s base salary range for this role is posted below. Compensation at the time of offer is unique to each candidate and based on a variety of factors such as skill set, experience, qualifications, and work location. Salary is one part of MongoDB’s total compensation and benefits package. Other benefits for eligible employees may include: equity, participation in the employee stock purchase program, flexible paid time off, 20 weeks fully-paid gender-neutral parental leave, fertility and adoption assistance, 401(k) plan, mental health counseling, access to transgender-inclusive health insurance coverage, and health benefits offerings. Please note, the base salary range listed below and the benefits in this paragraph are only applicable to U.S.-based candidates.

$180,000$180,000 USD
