Regional Account Executive - East Massachusetts / Rhode Island
Job Summary:
The Regional Account Executive is responsible for managing and growing strategic accounts within an assigned geographic territory. This role will focus on developing new business opportunities, nurturing existing relationships, and promoting the company's genetic testing products and services. The Regional Account Executive will work closely with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a regional sales plan to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned territory.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers, hospitals, and key decision-makers.
- Present and promote company products and services to prospective clients.
- Collaborate with marketing, operations, and support teams to deliver tailored client solutions.
- Track and manage sales pipeline, forecasts, and territory activity using CRM tools.
- Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to increase brand visibility.
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to drive strategy.
- Provide regular reports on account status, opportunities, and performance metrics to leadership.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support team and organizational objectives.
- Comply with all company policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or related field.
Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in sales or account management role, preferably in healthcare or life sciences.
- Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales goals in a competitive environment.
- Experience working with healthcare professionals and understanding of clinical workflows is a plus.
Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and highly organized.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to travel within assigned territory up to 50%.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in genetic testing, diagnostics, or a related healthcare field.
- Knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare compliance standards.
- Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
