Working under general supervision of the Director of Sales, Retail, the Region Execution Lead is responsible for driving retail excellence and in-store prominence across their assigned region. This role leads a team of Market Development Champions and owns broker relationships to ensure consistent, high-impact execution in every store, every day.
This individual plays a critical role in translating strategy into execution by aligning account priorities with field teams and brokers, delivering clear communication, measurable objectives, and actionable feedback. Success in this role requires a strong "business owner" mindset, a focus on results, and the ability to build productive, accountable partnerships.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Regional Leadership & Team Development
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Market Development Champions across the region.
  • Establish clear priorities, objectives, and performance expectations.
  • Provide ongoing feedback, and development to drive execution excellence and a strong ownership mindset across the region.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, partnership, and continuous improvement.

Planning/Organizing
  • Customize sales execution plans by account and broker
  • Develop and communicate 4P's execution plan in 2-month increments
  • Translate Account Manager ("AM") KPIs into clear direction for brokers covering the region
  • Build and implement execution tracking tools and performance metrics
  • Identify required executional resources needed to support execution plans
  • Partner with AMs to define "perfect store Gold Standards" by chain

Broker Management
  • Own all broker relationships across the region
  • Set clear execution standards, initiative‑based objectives, and annual priorities for brokers.
  • Train and align brokers on promotional strategies, everyday execution expectations, and KPIs.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and hold brokers accountable for in‑market execution results.
  • Lead monthly call with brokers to communicate account specific plans & execution expectations
  • Review broker communication monthly with Director of Sales, Retail
  • Organize bi-annual Broker meetings to review performance vs plan (with AM)
  • Conduct annual broker reviews and provide written feedback and progress against training for brokers
  • Provide monthly questions to be input into broker software for each account based on executional initiatives

Broker Selling Training & Development
  • Lead in market training sessions with broker reps
  • Develop and distribute effective broker selling materials
  • Leverage data insights to identify market specific opportunities and enhance execution
  • Conduct quarterly field days with brokers to reinforce training and plan execution plans

Retail Execution
  • Partner closely with Account Teams to fully understand promotional plans, everyday retail priorities, and customer‑specific needs.
  • Translate strategy into account‑specific execution direction, KPIs, and measurable outcomes
  • Lead execution communication through tools, training, and regular touchpoints
  • Implement systems to track and measure execution performance by account
  • Identify execution gaps, solve problems quickly, and adjust priorities to maximize impact.
  • Ensure proper execution of POS, displays, and rack ordering
  • Conduct market audits (10 stores) to assess and improve perfect store standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of the role

BASIC AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE)
  • Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience
  • 4+ years of relevant CPG sales or field execution experience
  • Experience managing broker networks and/or field teams
  • Strong background in retail execution and in-store merchandising
  • Work requires long periods of walking, standing, bending, or carrying moderately heavy items (up to 50 pounds) with or without reasonable accommodations

  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Proven ability to lead teams and influence without direct authority
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated with demonstration of being a team player
  • Ability to thrive in a very fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
  • Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, and/or weekends as required to meet with brokers during their working hours
  • Have access to reliable transportation, a current driver's license, valid registration and current insurance
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
