The engineer must have a strong background in container orchestration, platform management, and cloud-native applications, with hands-on experience in managing and deploying applications on OpenShift clusters.

The engineer must have a strong background in container orchestration, platform management, and cloud-native applications, with hands-on experience in managing and deploying applications on OpenShift clusters.
Primary Duties:
- Deploy, manage and scale Kubernetes and OpenShift clusters – 25%
- Configure, manage and monitor containerized applications running on Kubernetes or OpenShift – 20%
- Automate cluster provisioning, configuration and deployment pipelines using tools like Ansible, Teraform, Helm – 25%
- Integrate Kubernetes/OpenShift with CICD deployment tools iike Jenkins, Maven, GitHub – 15%
- Document and troubleshoot issues with containerized applications – 15%
Required Skills/Level of Experience:
- Managing and administering OpenShift clusters – 5 years
- Proficiency in scripting languages (KSH, Bash, Python) – 4 years
- Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible) – 4 years
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, GitOps practices (Jenkins, GitLab, Maven) – 4 years
- In-depth knowledge of networking in containerized environments, load balancing, network policies, and ingress/egress traffic – 4 years
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex problems – 5 years
Preferred Skills:
- Red Hat OpenShift certification or Kubernetes certification
