Job Summary

    The Recruiting Consultant, Nursing & Allied sources, interviews, and fills contract positions. This person strives to establish positive relationships with candidates by understanding their career aspirations and professional experience. Educating candidates on the current travel industry and helping them understand the outstanding benefits of traveling with AMN Healthcare is a significant part of this position. This helps ensure that AMN is matching the right talent with our client's needs!

    Job Responsibilities
    • Meet or exceed daily and weekly recruiting activity and placement metrics to grow and retain an active network of travel clinicians.

    • Source and prospect nursing and allied clinicians using AMN’s applicant tracking system (ATS) through outbound phone calls, email campaigns, and follow‑up outreach.

    • Conduct consultative conversations with clinicians to understand their current situation, career goals, availability, and assignment preferences.

    • Qualify clinicians for travel assignments based on licensure, availability, clinical skills, experience, and overall job fit.

    • Articulates plans of action that address clinicians' career needs by educating them on future opportunities, market conditions, and realistic timelines to show how traveling can best meet their long-term professional expectations.

    • Discuss and negotiate compensation to build a competitive compensation package.

    • Present candidate information to Account Managers to interview and fill current client openings.

    Required Qualifications
    • Experience recruiting, sourcing, or placing candidates in a sales, healthcare staffing, or recruiting environment

    • Ability to meet performance metrics in a high‑volume, fast‑paced recruiting environment

    • Experience using an applicant tracking system (ATS) or CRM to manage candidate pipelines and documentation

    • Strong verbal and written communication skills

    Preferred Qualifications
    • Experience recruiting travel nurses, allied health professionals, or healthcare clinicians

    • Experience with outbound prospecting, consultative recruiting, or full‑cycle recruiting

    Work Environment / Physical Requirements
    • Work is performed in an office/home office environment.

    • Team Members must have the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards.

    Pay Rate$20.25 - $25.25 Hourly

    Final pay rate is dependent on experience, training, education, and location.
