About Eyebot

Eyebot is an outcome-focused technology company on a mission to make vision care accessible to everyone, equally. Headquartered in Boston’s North End and Charlestown neighborhoods and backed by top investors and the National Science Foundation, our vision test kiosk is reshaping how vision care is delivered.

If you are passionate about solving big problems and building the future of vision care, we would love to hear from you.

About the Role

Eyebot is building out its people function and we're looking for a Recruiter who knows what it takes to hire well at a scaling startup. You will own full-cycle recruiting across a range of roles - from go-to-market and commercial to hardware and software engineering - and will play a meaningful part in shaping how Eyebot attracts and hires talent as the company grows.

This is a full-time, onsite role reporting to our VP of Operations based in Boston’s North End and Charlestown neighborhoods. We work together five days a week to support rapid prototyping and cross-functional collaboration.

What You’ll Do:

You will manage full-cycle recruiting across multiple open roles simultaneously, partnering closely with hiring managers to understand what great looks like, building pipelines, and moving candidates efficiently from screen to offer. You will help establish and refine the recruiting processes, tools, and infrastructure that Eyebot will scale with - this is a build role as much as an execution role.

What We’re Looking For:

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with meaningful time spent at a high-growth or scaling startup

  • Demonstrated ability to recruit across both go-to-market functions (sales, business development, commercial) and technical disciplines (hardware, software, or engineering)

  • Hands-on experience with Ashby or a comparable modern ATS - you know how to build and manage a clean pipeline

  • Strong sourcing instincts - you know how to find and engage candidates who aren't applying

  • Experience building or improving recruiting processes, not just executing against them

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills - you can push back on a hiring manager when needed and they'll appreciate it

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience recruiting for medtech, healthtech, or hardware-software product companies

  • Familiarity with Massachusetts employment law and hiring compliance

  • Experience standing up or optimizing a recruiting function from an early stage

Who You Are:

  • You execute without losing sight of the bigger picture - you can manage a full slate of open roles while also thinking about what the function needs to look like six months from now

  • You recruit across disciplines - you are just as comfortable sourcing a field sales leader as you are evaluating a firmware engineer, and you know the difference between what each search requires

  • You build trust with hiring managers - you ask the right questions, set honest expectations, and show up as a genuine partner rather than an order taker

  • You know your tools - you use your ATS to its full potential and keep your pipelines clean and actionable

  • You are energized by early-stage complexity - the ambiguity of a growing startup doesn't slow you down; it motivates you

What We Offer:
  • Compensation: $90,000–$115,000 base salary, commensurate with experience

  • Meaningful equity - you're building this with us and should share in what we create

  • Flexible work schedule with unlimited PTO - we care about the work you do, not the hours you log

  • Health, dental, and vision insurance

  • Employer-sponsored 401(k)

  • Commuter support and wellness benefits - including tools like Calm and Cariloop to help you perform at your best

  • A culture where all ideas are welcome, no matter how out there — that's how Eyebot started, and it's how we keep moving forward

  • Collaborative offices in Boston's North End (with a waterfront view) and Charlestown neighborhoods, with regular team lunches

  • The opportunity to build products that improve lives and reshape how vision care is delivered.

Apply — Even If You're Not Sure

We know that job descriptions can feel like long checklists, and that talented people sometimes talk themselves out of applying. If you're excited about this role and the mission but don't meet every single requirement, we still want to hear from you. Eyebot is committed to building a diverse and inclusive team, and we welcome applicants of all backgrounds, identities, and experiences.

Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)

  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
