Role Overview
As the Recruiter at Protege, you will own the end-to-end hiring process for multiple roles across the company, from sourcing to signed offer. You’ll partner closely with hiring managers to deeply understand role requirements, craft compelling outreach, and guide candidates through a thoughtful, high-touch experience that reflects Protege’s brand and values.
This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, growth-stage environment and can manage multiple searches independently while delivering both speed and quality. You’ll be the driver of our talent pipeline, ensuring we hire exceptional people who will help Protege scale and succeed.
Key Responsibilities
Manage full-cycle recruiting for multiple roles at once, from intake to offer negotiation
Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, success criteria, and interview strategies
Build and execute sourcing strategies to identify and engage top talent
Craft compelling job descriptions and outreach messages that align with Protege’s voice
Drive an excellent candidate experience, providing clear communication and timely feedback throughout the process
Coordinate and facilitate interviews, ensuring an efficient and fair evaluation process
Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate data in our applicant tracking system
About You
7+ years of experience in full-cycle recruiting, ideally in a startup or high-growth company
You have the proven ability to own multiple searches independently across different functions and levels
You are an excellent communicator, always clear, concise and persuasive
You are Highly organized, able to manage competing priorities without sacrificing quality
You are adept at building strong relationships with hiring managers and candidates alike
You are comfortable working in a fast-moving environment with evolving priorities
You are curious, tenacious, and proactive.
You are biased towards action and continuously stay scrappy.
You treat those around you with kindness
