What You'll Do
  •  You will analyze, create and edit data in QGIS tool, performing mapping tasks and corrections with high accuracy

  • You will conduct quality assurance (QA) checks on geospatial data to identify errors and report them via Jira

  • You will research online to verify data accuracy when necessary

  • You will detect patterns in data quality issues and automate processes

  • You will collaborate with team members to ensure high standards of data precision.

What We Believe are Important Traits for This Role
  •  Proficiency in English, ability to communicate clearly in written and verbal communication, read and write documentation (critical minimum - B1). Please, indicate the level of English proficiency in your CV;

  • Proficiency in QGIS for data editing; experience with QGIS scripting/programming is a plus;

  • Understanding of maps and interest in cartography;

  • Presence of logic, research skills, ability to reason and act independently;

  • Analytical mindset and ability to identify common patterns in large volumes of information;

  • Resistant to stress in a rapidly changing situation;

  • Ability to work in a team and high communicative skills;

  • Experience in using Jira and Confluence for task management, especially in bug/issue reporting;

  • Strong attention to detail, precision, and accuracy in data processing

  • Also, if you are familiar with OpenStreetMap and have experience in cartography, please specify this in your CV;

  • Ability to work from the office for the first three months during the probation period.
