We are seeking a strategic and technically strong Product Management leader to lead the growth of Impinj’s RAIN RFID solutions and service offerings, including embedded firmware, cloud services, and AI/ML-powered data analytics. This role owns the roadmap and execution for software and services that transform RFID signal data into business intelligence and operational value.
Ideal candidates bring deep experience in embedded software, cloud APIs, and data-driven services—plus the ability to define scalable, secure, and innovative RFID-enabled solutions across enterprise markets.
What You Will Do
- Product Strategy & Roadmap: Define and manage the roadmap for embedded software, RFID services, cloud APIs, and intelligent data models that power the Impinj RAIN RFID platform.
- Solution Development: Lead delivery of embedded firmware and edge intelligence on readers, reader ICs, gateways, and mobile devices. Design cloud-native and hybrid-cloud services for tag resolution, analytics, and device management.
- AI/ML & Data Services: Partner with engineering and data science to productize models that turn raw RFID signals into real-time insights for inventory, movement, location intelligence and fraud detection.
- Customer & Ecosystem Engagement: Engage with Fortune-500 enterprise customers and partners to define requirements and validate product-market fit. Capture feedback across retail, supply chain, eCommerce, and more and convert it into actionable product requirements.
- Go-to-Market Execution: Work cross-functionally to launch services, drive adoption, and communicate value to customers, developers, and system integrators.
What You Will Bring
- 12+ years in product management, preferably in embedded systems, cloud platforms, SaaS or IoT services.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Excellent communicator with experience aligning engineering and business teams.
- Experience building and scaling software offerings—from firmware to cloud APIs to data pipelines.
- Strong technical foundation in wireless, edge computing, or sensing technologies.
- Familiarity with RAIN RFID, real-time event processing, or sensor data platforms.
- Experience with AI/ML-driven features, cloud deployment, and enterprise integrations.
The benefits listed below may vary depending on the nature of your employment with Impinj and the country where you work.
The typical base pay range for this role across the US is $160,000 - $255,000. Individual base pay depends on various factors such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties, requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Both market wage data and the mid-point of the pay range is reviewed and used as the starting point for all new hire offers. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time.
At Impinj certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonus and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role.
