We are looking for passionate and driven Radio HW Digital Designer to join our team.
We are now looking for a Radio HW Digital Designer to join our growing and highly diverse team. In this role, you will develop for Ericsson's future Radio Systems, contributing across the full product lifecycle-from early study to deployed products and after-market support.
You will be directly involved in the development of Ericsson's next generation of radio network products, contributing to both system design understanding and end-to-end performance validation.

Key responsibilities- Be part of design and development for Ericsson future radio systems, from innovation and research prototypes to product development and field support- Participate in early design phase studies- Make systemization and high-speed link budget analysis- Make simulations with ADS, AWR and HFSS- Evaluate and qualify new components- Work with verification of integrated circuits by creating effective test scripts- Integrate, configure and tune the Radio's product during the design phase- Perform system performance verification.
Who we're looking for
We welcome experienced / senior engineers seeking technical leadership opportunities. Typical skills and background include:- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent technical discipline (Bachelor's degree with extensive relevant experience may be considered).- 5+ years of experience in digital, serdes/high-speed design and signal integrity analysis- Knowledge in signal and power integrity simulations, and EMC theory- Experience using lab equipment's such as Signal source analyzer, spectrum analyzer, oscilloscope, etc.- Expertise with layout and schematic tool (Cadence etc.) and is still using them today- Good understanding of electrical performance and limitations such as tradeoff between power consumption and noise performance, and the limitations on die integrated solutions versus discrete build.- Ability to work in teams with minimal supervision but also ability to take initiatives and work independently when needed- Curious, self-driven, and motivated to continuously learn and grow within radio and product development.- Solution-oriented mindset with the ability to innovate and drive technical improvements.- Strong collaboration and communication skills, enabling effective interaction with development, system, and product engineering teams.- Team-oriented with a clear focus on collective success and knowledge sharing.- Comfortable working in Lean and Agile development environments and actively contributing to continuous improvement.- Result-driven with a service-minded and quality-focused approach.- Ability to work effectively in English; capability to collaborate in Japanese is a strong advantage.
