Responsibilities - you will:
- Design, develop, and implement a scalable and modular algorithmic trading framework for continuous algorithms, that interacts with the execution engine.
- Ensure system reliability through robust testing, monitoring, and failover mechanisms.
- Work closely with quants to improve framework and strategy performance.
- Understand algorithmic trading architectures and order execution logic.
- Experience deploying real-time trading systems that run continuously.
- Work closely with analysts and traders who contribute to the framework and utilize it for decision-making.
- Maintain thorough documentation of model functionalities and interfaces.
- Conduct rigorous testing and validation to ensure model accuracy and robustness.
- Ensure high-quality input data for models.
- Implement continuous monitoring processes to detect and address potential issues proactively.
- Drive initiatives for ongoing improvements in data quality and model performance alongside the team
Qualifications - we imagine that you:
- Have a master's degree or PhD in software engineering, computer science, physics, or another related programing or software development field.
- Have 3+ years' experience in quantitative modeling, statistical analysis and systematic, trading strategies or similar.
- Have strong programming proficiency, especially in Python.
- Have experience with modern software development practices required (e.g., unit testing, version control practices, regression testing, CI/CD)
- Have experience with building and maintenance of algorithmic trading frameworks preferred, including model development, back-testing, and execution strategies.
- Have proficiency in SQL databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and ORM frameworks (Entity Framework, Dapper), with the ability to optimize queries and ensure data integrity.
