Duties: Develop insights, methods, and tools derived from large datasets using analytic methods. Manage data from multiple sources and disparate databases to construct conclusions and strategies. Assess and improve processes and controls in support of business results. Drive partnerships with stakeholders to enhance understanding of business drivers and underlying data. Collaborate with business owners to formulate quantifiable goals. Advise on strategies and experimentation to achieve business goals. Advocate for domain- specific data needed to monitor performance, targeting, execution, and other analytical support for business goals. Drive execution of KPIs, trend analysis, dashboards, and analyses to improve business function performance.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: 3 or 4-year Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Analytics, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Quant Analytics, Data Domain Architect, IT Consultant, Software Engineer, Technical/Project Lead, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Analytics, or related field of study plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or as Quant Analytics, Data Domain Architect, IT Consultant, Software Engineer, Technical/Project Lead, or related occupation.
Skills Required: This position requires experience with the following: Performing data analysis, data manipulation, data structuring, data design flow, and query optimization using SQL and Python; Translating data into analytical summaries, reporting visualizations, and business reports or data files using big data platforms and related technologies including Teradata, Snowflake, Hadoop, Hive, and Apache Spark; Performing data ETL processing using Snowflake or Alteryx; Performing STP straight-through processing using server-based applications such as Trifacta or Alteryx; Preparing and presenting interactive reporting and visualizations using tools such as Tableau or Oracle BI; Performing data mapping, data validation, and data debugging using SQL, Python, Snowflake, and Alteryx.
